The company was founded in 1997 as Great American Bagel Factory. Today, trading as Bagel Factory, the company has 60 locations throughout the UK and Ireland.

The company uses a proprietary blend of high-protein flour, which is milled especially for the Bagel Factory from wheat imported from America, making our bagels the “American Original”. The bagels are made and baked in small batches throughout the day to ensure freshness. Bagel Factory features all natural, GM free bagels offered in a variety of flavours that are low in fat, salt and cholesterol, yet high in energy-giving carbohydrates. To complement our filled bagels, Bagel Factory offers Coffee Co. speciality coffees and our Second Cup filter coffee offering our customers a Free Refill! We also have a range of fresh juices and soup (in season) and cakes and fresh-baked muffins!
